Description
Finally, it took some time but I've finally finished my Gemsona and she's ready to do the do.I currently have nothing in terms of bio at the moment but I shall brainstorm a thing as soon as I can.

I love your Obsidian! I love her design and she's a total cutie, not to mention her weapon is hella cool too! (is that her gem on her chest? it's cool cuz it kind of looks like an eye as well). She looks like she's ready for some space battles!

It told a little bit to come up with her design actually. Especially with that gem place, holy crud it took like a good hour of just sitting there trying to find a good spot. Plus the spot I chose if more than perfect for her weapon, cause hula hoop and stuff. And indeed that is her gem alright! I love shading my gems the same way I do my eyes. Shiny good.
Speaking of her weapon, it' one of my more favorite weapons seen and I don't see it very often. Probably because of how impractical it might be.Β

Oh yeah, I totally know what you mean, it also took me forever to choose what place to put my gem as well (since it is very important to the personality of the character and in some relation important to yourself if you go down the personal route). That makes sense! haha. Yes, she is very shiny!
Haha well impractical weapons are the most fun ones in fictional settings cuz you can make them useful anyways regardless if it would actually work or not^^ I like seeing/using weapons that aren't that common, so it's nice to see a different variety too.
Ahh that is adorable, gem-dorks are the best (mine is one too) and yes, she is indeed a babe! I also love that she is tall, it makes interactions with tiny gems hilarious.Β

Oh most definitely when it comes to placement.I tried my hardest to match her to the meaning of what Obsidian stands are, as I did design her to be reflective of me if I were a gem (despite being male) and while looking through gem meanings, obsidian what to gem that really did represent me most. Me being a soft-hearted type person and such.
I'd so have to draw our two babes interacting some day. <3 I would love to have a reason to draw Blue Obsidian again.

Yeah, it's nice when you're able to find a place that reflects you, the character, and the gem meaning all at the same time (which is very tricky). Haha yeah I did the same thing as well, I went through a list of black gems, did lots of research, and narrowed it down and found that Obsidian fit me best as well^^ (and for backstory ideas as well). Ahh well I've seen lots of male gems as well, and technically they're non-binary, so I wouldn't worry about that too much! Blue Obsidian is lovely though!Β
