A further wolf character from the anime show "Shonen Mowgli" (The Jungle Book series in manga style)
This is a she-wolf named Luri and she's Mowgli's mother in the show...
A nice wolf character, too
Later in this show, she even became the leader of the wolf pack and adopted Akela's position as the leader...

I too had tears when seeing mother and son(mowgli) scenes, then later in episode 20th she sends him off from her Den for him to live on his own, that scene made me cry wondering whether will he ever meet his mother again, I too cried very similiar one from Bambi
Well the story is so powerful and beautiful. Gosh! those times were so beautiful than today. No other wolf stories can beat this one.

Luri is one of my favorite wolf characters in this show 
I felt sorry for Mowgli anyhow in episode 20, when Luri sent him off of her cave, but later Mowgli saw that it's the law of the jungle and not any annoying feelings of his mother ...

I love Luri, she's so mystical and a beautiful wolf, I loved her soft and gentle nature ^_^
As a mother-wolf, Some of her scenes really made me had tears for the love for her children even mowgli and now also as an adult I had tears watching this show.

Yeah, but even worse is that here in Finland they had cut all important scened off from series.. o___o
For example Alexander was only in one short scene, and Sambura (or Vermillion, as his name is in other languages) was so little in whole show that I was angry... He is interesting char!

I only know, they cut out a sooo adorable scene in all versions (except the Japanese one) - it's the 2nd episode, when Luri has her flashback memories, how she and her family spwnd so much time with Mowgli as a baby
