FINALLY
And right before the winner for the contest gets decided.This is the prize I have been working on for 's contest .
I am extremely Jealous of the winner of this doll. He's just so freaking fun to cuddle. X'DDDD I might have to make another one. I think he is 12" tall but I haven't measured. Just look at how big he is compared to me.
Anyhoo, yeah dressed up as Freddy just to get a picture of me in cosplay mode cuddlin' teh doll. If I had the skills I woulda added burn marks to my face but ya know I wanted to get this uploaded before mom takes me to see Saw VI in a bit so I am under a time crunch. xD

PS: A note to the winner of the contest... I would advise NOT pulling on the little hairs attached to his head. x'D I attached them as best as I could with the glue that I have but if you pull on em they will come off. Also, he does have a little felt machete but it looked silly when I tried to attach it to his hand. I'll include it in the package and you can decide what to do with it. Maybe glue on some velcro. xD

I have no idea. I was supposed to mail it to a winner of a contest of this horror club I was in; but it ended up either getting lost in the mail or she lost it. Either way I was pissed. I spent months sewing that doll. XD Used up the last of my favorite gray fabric too.

She has a free plush pattern up that you can print out and make your own plushies with. That's what I used to make this Jason plushie and a few others like Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers.

Color & Design. I'm not exactly as talented with paint as I am with charcoal and pencils and it's mostly a painting class. xwx I took it 'cause I need to learn color theory badly.

I see, well I hope to one day learn more about color and design as well, its quite difficult to color and it look as good as I want it too.
Well how much will shipping cost? cause I have a small problem- I can't use any sort of pay pal or credit card, were' very deep in the hole, my moms been talking about us not having enough money for the holidays soon...I thought perhaps a friend could help chip in if you were selling these though, but if your giving me him free but for the shipping I'm sure we can arrange that.

I wish you luck with that. You could probably find books at the library on color theory and not even have to take a class for it if you follow what the book says. There's also tutorials on DA. I'm just taking the class because I have focus issues and wouldn't be able to learn it otherwise. xwx
Ahhh we were in your shoes last year. Didn't have any money for Christmas presents. I'll know how much shipping will cost when the plushie is finished. I think it has something to do with the weight of the item, but my guess is it might be around $5. Do you live in the US? My mom had a lot of trouble shipping gifts I'd made for people outside of the US because of shipping cost issues. But yeah, I'm not charging for the plushie itself since it's not that hard to make a small one and it's for your birthday.

I think I have the same problem as you, focus issues, when I get library books, or tutorials over the internet I tend to not show any improvement.
Only five dollars, awesome well I asked my mom and she said that we should have some money prepared May 1st, or 10th, too pay for the shipping.

Yeah, ADD can be a serious thing though a lot of people don't understand that. It's not about forcing yourself to do things, the mind just physically can't do it no matter how hard you try. Though I read somewhere that it can be managed with exercise and using a timer to signal when to move on to the next thing. I'm gonna buy a timer and give it a shot 'cause I can't seem to focus much in class either. Only the forced deadlines are helping a little.
Yep. I was gonna default to the FVJ Jason if you didn't want any of the looks from the Friday the 13th series. Jason from FVJ is a lot easier to make anyways.

Well I think a timer will be more like pressure on yourself too force you to do something that may cause you to mess up.

I'll probably see if I can attach little velcro bits so if you don't want him to have the machete at one moment, you can just stick it to the hilt. It'll depend on the kind of velcro strips the sewing store has though.
