"Bella?" Alexis called, softly. "Bella, you out here?"

All she could hear is the sound of various snoring, coming from her fellow guildmates.

"Sheesh," the Growlithe muttered, scanning the environment. "Where is she?"

After about 40 seconds, she soon spotted the kit, sitting near the border of the fields, facing the horizon. The Fire-type smiled before she cautiously went over to her.

"Hey, Bella," she said. "What's goin' on?"

"Nothing," Bellatrix answered, sounding a bit distracted, however as she spoke.

"...Bella, you've been acting really weird since we got here," Alexis said. "What's the matter?"

"Nothing," Bellatrix replied, turning away from her. "I'm just fine."

"No, you're not," Alexis argued, a bit firmly this time. "Listen, Bella...Danny told me you yelled at him, earlier. You've been moping around, trying to keep to yourself. I'm worried, Danny's worried, and even Kuro is worried! So just tell me what's wrong, already, will ya?!"

A pause...but then Bellatrix sighed as she faced the horizon once again, to the canine's confusion, but as she followed the direction the vulpine was facing, and that's when she noticed an arch of stone with stalactites hanging from underneath, with several glimmering lights on them.

"Oh, it's Geoda City!" Alexis exclaimed. "I heard Cassidy and his little brother is from there. Man, I can't wait to head there tomor...row..."

The dog's mouth parted as realization hit before she glanced down at Bellatrix, whose ears hung at the sides of her head.

"...Bella," Alexis started, "are you...from Geoda?"

The Shiny Fennekin sighed sadly and nodded her head.

"Why didn't you say before?" Alexis asked.

"Because...I actually don't wanna go back," Bellatrix answered.

"That's stupid! If you didn't wanna go back home, why'd you come with us, anyway?!"

"Because...I just thought that I should do the right thing...when I ran away, my Mom had no idea...but now...I'm afraid to go back home!"

Alexis sighed, her gaze softening.

"I get it," she said. "You wanna go back home because you wanna apologize to your Mom for leaving...but what I didn't understand is why you're scared."

"Because," Bellatrix began, "I'm afraid that when I go home...she won't give me a chance to explain myself...and worst of all...she'll probably never let me see you again...!"

"...Bella..." Alexis muttered, sadly, while tears fell from the kit's eyes.

"Alexis...you're like a big sister to me!" Bellatrix answered. "You don't care if I'm blind or deaf or anything else, and you let me go outside! You...you gave me freedom...but when I go home, I'm afraid that my Mom will just take that all away from me!!"

She then broke down sobbing, while Alexis gently held her close.

"Oh, Bella..." the Growlithe whispered. "I'm so sorry...!"

"Alexis...you're like a big sister to me!" Bellatrix answered. "You don't care if I'm blind or deaf or anything else, and you let me go outside! You...you gave me freedom...but when I go home, I'm afraid that my Mom will just take that all away from me!!"

She then broke down sobbing, while Alexis gently held her close.

"Oh, Bella..." the Growlithe whispered. "I'm so sorry...!"
