Description Well... the title is pretty self-explanitory.

I tried a different angle with a different style of Gaara, and I really like how it turned out ^_^

I've been taking a lot longer on my drawings. I've been perfecting them like crazy. This drawing took me about an hour to draw and another half an hour to color and finish up. So, all in all, it took an hour and a half to draw Gaara! THATS LONG. It usually takes me like, 20 mins to finish something, but this time, it didn't. I think that i should learn to really take time on my art if i want to do commissions next year!

This piece was actually inspired by a different commission that I saw by this amazing artist. I saw this awesome Gaara pic she drew, so I sort of copied her style a little. I really love her art. I got a Shino/Kiba (no shounen-ai or yaoi) pic from her. I LOVE IT TO DEATH!

So...yeah. That's all I have to say.

Oh, awesome! Excellent use of perspective. I've always wanted to draw something from above like this, but it's such a daunting thought. You did really good. LOL, Gaara looks clueless, like... "Huh, why are you looking at me?" So adorable. I thought that his eyes were pale blue, but I like the green, too.

I think in the manga his eyes are blue. In the anime his eyes are green. I think... O_o;;;

From what I've seen in tha anime, they seem to be a really light blue, almost ice blue. 'Course I was really tired then. They might be green in the manga, though. Either way, I think they look totally awesome green because it fits with his hair, and I love your drawing! I can't get over the incredible perspective. Clueless Gaara is something to be treasured.

lol well, its more of a challenge to draw angles, but i like trying new things, and this one happened to turn out great ^_^

Oh that's a job well done. I love the angle, it's radically different from the usual standing pose.

An hour & a half on a coloured drawing is not long IMO. Back in the old days (lol) when I used to do anime sketches, I would always spend well over an hour on it. I'm glad you decide to take more time now.

By the way, those eyes and the facial expression reminds me of L (from Death Note).

time well spent! looks good - it's almost like gaara, except the face shape is a bit off, and the black rim around his eye should probably be thicker. also his pose looks a bit tense...

T___T Uwah, ur one of my notorious critics...

lol, jk. He was purposely supposed to look tense in this picture because...well...i wanted him to XD; And I worked more on the shape of his eyes, not his little rings of mascara. I'll add more mascara on him next time And as for the face shape, THAT IS SOMETHING THAT I CONSTANTLY MESS UP. I DONT KNOW WTF IS WRONG WITH ME! I usually draw faces all lop-sided and it PISSES ME OFF! *runs off to fume*

So, yeah. That's my feedback >_<;

the face seemed fine. but he probably knows more than i do, so listen to him =.=

lol, when i first saw this i though, "wtf? oh.... OH!! i get it!! it's gaara!" srry if this sounds offending.

and... i thuoght gaara had blue eyes? ah oh well, the yellow eyes look better because it matches with the rest of the drawing. it's nice..... WAIT!!! WTF??? AGH NO FAIR!!! you've mastered the art of coloring TT-TT well kinda i like how you do the shadings over the face.... like when the hair makes a shadow on the face, that looks really nice. i like the fact that it blends in. wish i could do that, but i suck at coloring and i hate it.

His eyes are green or blue. It just depends on the artist. But his eyes...they arent yellow... O_o maybe ur comp screen is weird or something, cuz i drew them green >_<;;

And I've begun to LOVE coloring because I get to practice my shading skillz XD I work hard at it!
