Just a quick teaser photo of sorts of my Near cosplay that I wore at Ikkicon. Our Death Note group was lots of fun, even though I happened to have my slew of panic attacks while in this cosplay-- at least it was comfortable and loose, otherwise they may have been worse.Wammy kids are the best kids.

It belonged to a friend, who generously let me use it. But the wig is completely styled by me-- it was originaly long (meaning no layers, not in length), straight, and not very fluffy. ^^ It was an eBay wig that he cut and styled for Allen Walker.

It's up to you, really. There are plenty of wigs already Near's length that you can play with, but if you're up for the challenge you can start with a longer wig and take the hair you cut off to make wefts, which you can add in to make the wig even fluffier.
Also, it really depends on which version of Near's hair you like best. Sometimes his hair looks like a white version of Light's hair, and sometimes it's fluffy and almost curly.
