This picture almost drove me to call it quits lol. Well not quite that extreme. but i was at my wits end with it. xD

I've been really trying hard to practice with proportional editing in order to make my pictures look better. Due to my hardware limitations, i've only used it in making small adjustments here and there in other pieces of work, but for this one, I really wanted to try something else for a change. If only to give it a shot once. Since i knew i'd have to make adjustments to the skirt, that's also why Luna's hands aren't completely down either. I wasn't sure how far up i'd have to pull the skirt so I made a guess on where to place the hands. It's not perfect but thats why we practice, to steadily get better

So editing aside, onto Ravus. He's shiny right? C'mon it's a family picture! He had to get cleaned up for it! Ok maybe he's TOO shiny in some places but i was testing some set ups too. (Thank you so much WondrousMoogle ! ) And i'm still working with certain other things. So there's trial and error.

But you know what? Despite the set backs and errors, many frustrations and attempted fixes, I'm about 90 % happy with this one. ^_^
The idea was to put Luna and Ravus (who are NOT up for grabs, sorry. Don't ask.) together and to give at least one of them a different pose for a change than my usual standing poses. I knew there'd be challenges along the way and I did what i could to get past that.
Anyway, the theme here is just a family picture. They're the last two of their family and maybe the portrait was done not long before things went to hell for Eos. Obviously before Luna's fate as well. Ravus may look a little stiff and too serious here but I say its more of a protective brother thing. And Luna looks really calm and nice i think ^^
