oh please, he's not mean or bitchy at all, he's just shy. he wants to be loved and he's actually sweet and soft when somebody treats him in the right way. i love it when he loves Zack back, too!!! and i love seeing him wanting Zack *giggle* they're so damn cute O.Q

Yeah!! When he's written as shy, I don't mind. But when he's never nice back to Zack, even though they're pretty friendly to each other, considering Crisis Core where Cloud invites Zack to his house for dinner with a text message XDD I don't like when people make Cloud hit Zack or hate Zack for hugging him or stuff like that. 
But yeah, I love when they both love each other!!! It's so much more cute.

I think it's strange when people do that with Cloud too. He is a stubborn guy, perhaps moody at times, but he would never be mean and bitchy for the hell of it. He was a sweet little boo in Crisis Core! One that Zack just absolutely adored because THEY ARE CANON AND NO ONE CAN ARGUE WITH THAT AND ASHGJKHJEKHLEKR. ilu<3

Yeah, I mean he's kind of shy and awkward, just I really don't like fics where Zack is trying to invite him to have fun, or be sweet, and Cloud just rejects EVERYTHING, but Zack is expected to still love him and never feel bad and just it annoys me to no end when fics are like that. I know it's for humor or whatever and that Cloud is suppose to have a soft spot inside, but if he acted like a total bitch, I'd prefer Zack with anybody else.

I think Cloud had friends, but no real close ones because he was scared to let people in just to be rejected. Zack would push through that barrier and Cloud takes that all in and loves him with all his heart.

I think they try the whole mean and bitchy thing as a front for Cloud since they think he's too shy to love Zack back. Although, I think Cloud would be more awkward shy than mean and bitchy tsundere shy.

Yeah, I agree. In CC, he was kinda shy, but he wasn't bitchy. I mean, he even joked around with Zack about living in the freaking middle of nowhere...and later on when the Nibelheim thing is taking place, he asks for advice and to meet his mom with him too. He's so sweet!!!
I know tsundere is something a lot of people like, but most of the fics I read never get to the dere part >_> It really isn't my cup of tea ;__;

Ah, I remember that!! It's too bad the game never let us actually get to that part. I would've loved a scene with meeting Cloud's mother and getting free dinner. She would've been all like, "Cloud, have you found an older girlfriend yet?" and Zack could be thinking, 'Oh, not exactly...'
I'm not the biggest fan of tsundere, so I don't find it very appealing in the first place.
