Description
Preservers' Obelisks were markers left by an ancient super-race known as the Preservers. They passed through the galaxy rescuing primitive cultures which were in danger of extinction, seeding them on faraway worlds where they could live and grow.

Known to the local inhabitants only as the "Wise Ones", the natives worshipped at the Preservers' Obelisk, believing it to be a temple, a dwelling place of the gods.
