I have a little bit lying around, plus some good screenshots.
I had slightly revised my command center drawing since this deviation but never ended up doing more polished chart buildings.
Basically, my main thought is that all the Terran buildings should exist at a whole range of sizes. Lore-wise, when you're starting off with a single command center landing on a planet with just a handful of SCVs to set up a little mining outpost, the first refinery they build should probably be pretty minimal and small... but by the time it's become a major planetary colony with starports and everything, I imagine they would have expanded it into an enormous mining facility/power plant. And at the beginning of StarCraft: Ghost's opening cinematic , you can see a refinery like this, clearly many stories tall. In-game in SC:Ghost shows buildings that match the style of SC1/SC2's looks much more closely, so those are probably a good bet for those designs (I can find screenshots of a supply depot, bunker, cc, armory, factory, and missile turret from there if you want 'em). But these wouldn't be nearly big enough to make Thors or Battlecruisers, so bigger buildings must exist (though it's possible that in lore Battlecruisers are really made in space, not from Starports).
I sort of imagine the range of sizes like how in Age of Empires II as your technology level increased all your buildings got updated, larger/more built-up versions.Β In-game, it would be cool to have your buildings get upgraded like that as your supply went up, and then if you lost a ton of supply your SCVs would go back to building much crappier versions of supply depots and barracks and all that.
So basically I would have a minimum-size Starport design where the landing pad is just big enough for a single dropship at a time (I did a mockup in 3D over here) , and then I'd imagine the largest would be a whole aircraft manufacturing facility / spaceport in one, or other more-hollow drydock/starports that had a massive open section to be able to produce a battlecruiser in.

is this all based on scaling? I'm wondering if I can get your exact figures for the wraith if it's not asking too much - for use with a calc I'm attempting to do with a feat involving a wraith.

It's not too much to ask at all! The wraith's size is basically just made up. I think it's a reasonable guess, though it is a bit smaller than most modern jets (partly because it doesn't really have a nose or much of a fuselage, just a cockpit and an engine). Here you can see a side view of the model with an outline of a 177cm tall man standing and seated (the grid lines are 1m apart). At this scale, the wraith is ~15.5 meters long (including the antennae sticking out at the front), with a wingspan of 14.88m and a height of ~7.9m.
Here are some orthographic views if you want them. I'm fairly confidant in the overall proportionsβ it mostly compares pretty well to the original model , though it's lower detail.Β That said, other people have come up with different sizes and different designsβ here's a larger interpretation done by SgtHK some years back, so feel free to scale mine up if you want. I went with the smaller size in part because the vehicles like the Viking were so small in SC2.

Dang it seems that almost everything in brood war is bigger than the sc2 units.

Yes! The download version is much, much higher resolution, and the labels should explain everything. Thanks!

Ah, thank you. I now get to see all the things, in adition to your skills.
A whole bunch of this stuff is completely uncnown to me. Probably because I always got eaten in the first ten minutes of the first mission of Starcraft 1. I has teh skills -_-
