This is a really beautiful piece. I love how you've used yellow and pink as accent colors and how you've stuck to an icey theme. The way you drew the dress and boots is amazing. It takes skill to draw clothes that well. The only thing that you might want to change is the anatomy. She is proportioned very nicely, but certain things like the shape of her head, the size of her bottom and the way her jaw/chin is drawn can change the picture drastically. Over all, very nice work (i'm jealous, I can't draw)! You just need to work on proportion, and then it would be even better! Luck to you!

okay i've been really slow/lazy on not commenting on people's art -__-U so i'll give you a Critique, i've never given a Critique before (i mean, "Critique" using dA's system)!! this is the first time... ^__^UU and since i drew this character too, i feel like i should do it... (sorry but this is loooong)

i gave you 5 stars for vision!! your vision is more interesting than mine when i tried to draw iris. XD at least you have a background... i really like the ice cave theme, it fits iris well since she has a cold expression and wears light blue. i like how she's calmly sitting there and i like how there's a lot of space around her.

however, i think you could have made more with that space. it could have been a picture where the bg is sort of majestic and swallowing her up in a way. (lol idk) but i think the large amount of white in the background should have been changed because it sort of looks like there is just nothing there, and i think it would have been better if there were ice there or a rock wall or something. right now it looks very blank, almost unfinished. (unless you WANTED it to look blank... then sorry!)

and i gave you 3 stars for technique because of that and also because of the water and ice, well i think the ice should be more white/gray and less blue because it looks like the exact same color of the water. and i think the ice and water could have been colored better although i don't really know how to color water or ice either. *shot.* well i do have one suggestion about ice. not only should it be more gray/white, but also, think about how jewels and gemstones have light reflecting off the surfaces at various angles. the surface has many sections and fragments, so light hits some parts more than others. sorry, that's the best way i can explain it...

as for iris, i like the shine of the boots but i think the hair and crown could have been shinier. you're right, the skin is pretty good!! ^___^ one other thing is that you sometimes draw heads and necks too thick. although i like her eyes, they're cute.

i gave you four stars for originality but it's not a bad thing, i just didn't give you five stars because it wasn't your original character. but you did change the dress and made it longer and more dramatic, and that fits the mood of the picture very well!! btw, the little hearts are a nice touch.

i gave you 3.5 stars for impact because i like the vision and the mood but your technique could have carried out that vision better.
