Ushas looked down at herself and her changing form. She was pregnant. The very first to be pregnant....ever. But this was no normal pregnancy. Much like a mother today grows, forms, and nurtures a child in her womb today, so too but did she. It was not a child that grew in her womb however, it was beginning of all else that would be. Today we call it the universe.

She was so excited now. She loved the ways in which her body had changed. She looked at herself and word she had only used to describe light came to mind. "Beautiful! I am......beautiful." In truth she always had been. This, however, was the first time she had ever applied to concept of beauty to anything other than light.

She placed her hand on her growing belly. She felt a shock of total bliss as all of creation undulated and practically kicked at her, taking ever ounce of strength that she could. She did not completely comprehend what was happening but she really wanted to.

She knew she would find out some day just exactly grew within her, but felt a sense of satisfaction that something, anything, had changed. She was content to wait and find out what was going to happen. A new word for Ushas, as not much had ever happened to her before.

We mere mortals could not truly comprehend what a goddess looked like, even if she were sitting next to a her. As such, their appearances change constantly, as seen picture to picture.
