Remember when I used to draw nothing but Michael Jackson? Anyone ever wonder what happened?

For awhile I drifted away from the fandom. Barely listened to his music anymore, hardly even thought about him. I don't know why it happened. Probably because the group of fangirls I used to always spaz with broke up. Whatever the reason, I all but forgot about Michael.

Then the other day, I was watching a tribute on the telly that I recorded back in August. It was 3 hours long and I just hadn't had the time to watch it until a few days ago. But as I watched him glide across the floor effortlessly, saw the passion burning in his eyes, and once again felt his music touching my very soul with the magic of his voice, I fell in love all over again. The beauty of Remember the Time and all its wonder had me entranced and I suddenly remembered why I loved this man so much.

Remember the Time has always been my favorite music video. It tells a story, a beautiful one, and Michael just looks stunning. Not to mention the song itself, which always makes me want to dance. It has that beat, that energy.

So despite this being my favorite music video, I only attempted to draw it once many years ago and it was awful. Having renewed my obsession, I decided it was time to try once again to commemorate the one and only King of Pop.
