And once more I bring you something Young Justtice-related, and also something inspired by the YJ anon prompt meme in livejournal. I'm thinking of writing a fill for this eventually, but in the meantime I'm just going to get these out of my head.

And now for the deviation itself.

Let's start by saying that, in my head canon, Shuichi Minamino's body stopped aging when he turned 15-17ish, because it was around this point that he was able to transform into Youko without the aid of the potion. Which to me means there is a stronger influence from his demonic side, and thus he ages much, much more slowly than normal humans. So he could be int he Young Justice timeline (which seems t be more modern than YYH's by at least a decade) and still look the same. He, of course, would have had to abandon his human family, because they'd start noticing he wasn't aging, and moving to another continent would be a smart step to take.

So now Kurama is prodigy student Shuichi Minamino at Gotham Academy. And with him comes Youko, of course.

While I very much love Youko's default look, I kept bumping with pictures of him wearing more modern clothes while looking for reference pics, and I ended up wanting to give him a new 'look'. I know he looks less manly, but bear with me, I haven't gotten broad chests down pat just yet.

The prompt included Youko becoming part of the team's Rogues Gallery, which brought the last pic to mind. It doesn't seem too out of character for Youko to tease the teens around, and since Robin was already int he first pic, I went with him for the last.
