Monica and Denise were best friends. Monica was also Denise's drug dealer. One day, after she had just sold Denise an especially large amount of drugs, Denise pulled out cuffs and slapped them on Monica's hands. It turns out Denise had been an undercover cop the whole time. Of course Monica felt betrayed, but over the years she realized the harm in what she'd been doing, and accepted the consequences. She respects Denise for doing her job well, and now the two are best friends again. Denise visits Monica in prison often, and they laugh about the old days, especially that day she surprised her with the handcuffs!
