To me all american accents sound nearly the same, with the exception of the Jersey/New york and country accent.

But yeah, we have weird accents over here.

Anyways, I don't really see how someone can hate an accent, to be totally blunt. Every accent shows a little bit of the holder's culture, and that is just a beautiful thing.

But you know what I can't stand? I'm totally, totally not directing this towards you or any other specific person, just humanity in general: what I hate most is sheer cultural arrogance. I hate, hate, hate, HATE it when people have a "HURRDURRDURRR MY CONTRAY IS BETTAR LOOOOOLLOOLOL!!!!111!!!!1one!!!1111" Even Americans of course. And on the same level, even foreign countries' attitudes towards "tourists." (Seriously, they should consider themselves fucking lucky that those areas have so much publicity. Anyway, if it bugs them so much they should just move away from it somewhere.)

I am from Oregon, but there are a few british peeps at my school and even they agree I can sound exactly like them if I want. I always talk in a british accent because I annoy people into leaving me alone with my friends.
