This is Aster~

Her flower is the Desert Willow, or chilopsis linearis.

Like the flowers that bloom from her, she is stubborn, hearty, and proud. Aster greatly envies her domesticated cousins, but she would never let them know outright. Whenever humans come to celebrate with the wild canters, she flaunts herself close to them, making use of her elegant gait and light steps in hopes of persuading one of the humans to take her home and spoil her rotten with beautiful saddles and ribbons and all the other lovely things her domestic counterparts are lavished with. And yet all her advances have ended in failure, many of the people she tries to impress are put off by her strangely pink eyes, and also her one, deepest. truest shame, a swinish love of clovers. She will defend her favorite meal with all the vigilance and tenacity of a bull defending its herd- and is not above drooling over the thought of them.

Other canters have difficulty deciding just how they feel towards Aster- to respect her stern attitude and typically flawless mane from a distance, or try and get to know the almost boorish female- a feat few have ever accomplished. She is a bit ill-natured, when not trying to impress a potential human keeper, and is often seen as petty and rather snippy. Though in truth, beneath her prickly exterior, Aster is full of the love and cheer that other canters so easily show.
