This is a good stage of the progress so far, the background needs a bit more work as i have several ideas regarding. But i am all ears if you want to share your ideas for the background? What do you think i should do to have it completed?
Photo taken in the morning daylight so the colors are true.
Canson Mi Teintes (Hue: Sepia) very dark brown purple base, i was quite unsure how i would be able to make the light colors pop out, but after countless layers (and in between fixative spray ) they seem to pop out effectively enough.
I used Pan Pastels over Prismacolor colored pencils.
Size 50x70cm and so far i have dedicated 6 weeks of work to this one, which makes me believe i am rather slow...
