Amanda is finally complete. It took me only
3 months to decide on the best way to do this, but now i am content.
Sad fact that the specks and flecks she needed are made in gold and bronze Pan Pastels compact powders and thats not visible in the photo, but i can tell you, in real she is glowing.
To remind you, she is 50x65 cm, Canson mi Teintes sepia tinted sheet, color pencils and pan pastels in turns.

it was time consuming, i thought at first it would be easier but the size of it didn't make it any easier. Oooh well, it took the time it needed and i have moved to the next 5 ones. I am happy and very creative at the moment!

The glazing is NOT going to plan and so far I have I think I have re painted the whole piece with colour..
But, it has been a good exercise. Glad I got a good photo of the canvas as it was painted b&w..

well, i always say that my mistakes are my best friends. Because they happen only once.
And you are right, the experience of it is all that really matters.
no clue if this is helping at all but i have tried acrylics in glazes here and i wasn't freaky disappointed. But it doesn't look like acrylics either.

i have allowed the biggest possible file to open so when you full view you can at least catch as many details as possible. Many of the colors are lost in the photo, but in real it looks wonderful. Thank you my dear!
