Hey all ^-^ I finished my Rainbow Dash wig today so I thought I would give an update on my cosplay progress. With this weight off my shoulders I can begin sewing the rest of the costume. I am also completely remaking Rapunzel! I have some very exciting plans for that wig so stay tuned

Anyway, this wig was hand dyed by me with dye also made by me (using Alcohol and Sharpies).

Sorry this has taken so long ._. school and such..

But I added up costs for materials, etc. and it'll be $75 to do this wig. But Arda is out of their pure white Jareths at the moment and won't restock until May. EverFree NW is in July, right?

Wow, would you mind if I asked how you did that? My sister's been having trouble finding a good Rainbow Dash wig....

I used Sharpie based dye for this Basically its 70% Alcohol and Sharpie ink cores. I sectioned everything off and began applying each color with a small spray bottle. You have to make sure all the fibers are soaked. After that I brush it out, give it a rinse, and everything should be done! Sorry this isn't extremely detailed XD;; I've been asked to do a tutorial so maybe I can get around to it.
