Description Taken: December 1, 2006

I am fan of Slipknot, and moreso a fan of the singer Corey Taylor and his work. He's a lyrical genius in my eyes. Slipknot isn't exactly the heaviest metal band to walk the eath, in some aspects Slipknot isn't even really metal.. But Corey Taylor's attitude makes it very appealing in my honest opinion.

Besides he not only screamed his head off for Slipknot, but also plays it cool, with the same bad ass lyrics in Stone Sour.. Another favorite band of mine - whom I saw live and I must say his voice.. is just as amazing live. What a bonus!

So here's my tribute to Slipknot (I have a few of these I might add, but this was just to make a point... Plus I like to appreciate fellow artists!)

Tenatious D is good as well, I have a few of his songs downloaded to my iPod right now. I can't help but laugh at the song "Fuck her gently" It's a good point, in a slightly more.... severe way of putting it lol.

I saw an internet created video of it - not sure if that was the real one.. it was a cartoon with the two singers of tenatious down in hell with a devil girl.

I use "eh" a lot too lol, I am very near Canada, it's only about three hours away roughly. I've been there a few times, nice place to visit but I would not want to live there!

But yes, it was freaky

I drink mixed drinks.. right now it's "Screwdrivers" which is orange juice and vodka

that way I control the alcohol percentage volume. I'm a german/irish cross... so I like my drinks strong w00t!

yeah... and now meh
Father- roots in German, Austria (how this damn countr is called in english? did I wrot it wrong?) and a bit in england I think and polish farmers (I wrote only some 3 genrations back).
Mother- Polish family like english "sir" (I don't know the name for it- it's not royal, ;cose there is no kings blood, no lord, and no duke, but simply.. heh I don't know if there was such thing in other countries ), some 5-6 generations back a french drop of blood, and some 3 generations- nords (I'm still not sure... dutch? sweden? O.o)... and it's not all... but while comunism was in my country (strange... I really often use this word when I talk with You) some freaks (called politicians and army) burn down mansion of my familly with libary (genology tree was there- hard to reconstruct this papers now )...

We keep track of English sir names, and lineage - if their is any of it, and the family is interested in it. My family has something on my father's side, involving his mother - Irish, and some of her history with the English. I do not recall it off hand, but then the US doesn't really keep track of it's lineage. We're all basically mutts anyway, so many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds we've all just basically mixed. It's not a bad thing, but it get's rid of the original cultural identity and makes for some problems socially.

Germany/Austria that sounds right Austria... That's where Shwartzenneger (Spelling? Damn he has a long name) is from.

Sounds like the politicians are doing their dirty deeds as normal even in your country.

jcSadOne In reply to xSerenax [2006-12-14 13:34:20 +0000 UTC]

heh... Yeah... Shwartzennerger (duble black and still white You know ;D. Shwartz- in german black, and negr... I don't need to recall it yeah?). Yeah... from Austria comes my familly name (but still in Austria langague is german, so I'm not sure is it for sure Austria, or maybe German...)

Yeah.. mixing- it's one of the cool things in US... my freaky country is quite strange in this case (Poland was most tolerating country in any case in from middleages till 18 century... and now we are bit rasist country... I mean people, not what we have in our politic- it's not so nice 'cose I have few friends who are black or yellow [sry, I don't know how to say it in english without any rasist sound and without using idiotic in my opinion afroamerican/asiaamerican or afroeuropean/asiaeuropean]- most of them from US military base in Germany [Mannheim near to Frankfurt] and when thay come to visit me... hmmm write the end by Your own... )

Cultural diversity promotes cultural tolerance... Some countries just want to avoid that.

well I'm a fan of their music, but not their politics. Plus Corey has a great voice, and the band has great talent!! But their are more talented artists out there over all. I just think Corey's voice is probably the most appealing to me of all. He mixes screaming/yelling metal style with actual singing quite nicely... It flows, you know?

But their politics definitely leave a bitter taste in my mouth at times. And I honor the band for it's talent, but not necessarily it's over all taste. Their points in some cases are just, but their means and desires are horrible on some levels.. Just in my opinion of course.

I was trying for a symetrical use of the asymetrical style... so they both pull to one side and the other.. but at the same time balance each other out by pulling different ways.. at least that was the goal <3

Glad to see you posting more stuff yourself you're photomanip's are coming along beautifully.
