Description
This is my rendition of a very specific moment of the Transformers movie, specifically, when Optimus Prime blasts Soundwave right before he lands and guns down all of Megatron's Decepticons prior to fighting his nemesis for the last time.

I assembled this when I read the TFCon art contest submissions and figured that with the models I'd recently done, I definitely had a shot at it!

And guess what...? I walked out of there with the 2nd place win for the 2D Art Contest! My very own authentic Transformers comic panel, by Alex Milne! It's from the first movie's adaptation, the page where Brawl transforms!

Anyway, I was pretty proud to win something, even though I missed the winners announcement (having kids at a convention is a tough thing to do).

Everything was modeled and rendered on 3DS Max 2010, using "The Ark" as reference material.
