She sighed. "Okay. Let's take this one step at a time."
She slowly started to clean the wound, fighting back the tears in her eyes.
"Hey, it's okay..." her murmured gently. She shook her head. "It's okay..."
"No it's not. It's..." she sighed. "I know. I know this kind of risk is a part of your life, that it's part of our lives... It doesn't mean I like it. I saw too much Donnie... Everytime something like this happen, I feel like sinking. I don't want to lose you too."
"You're not gonna lose me." he whispered, leaning to kiss her, but she pulled away, shaking her head. "I'm here."
She finally closed her eyes and leaned into his kiss, taking a sharp breath, as his hand pulled her a bit closer. "I'm here" he repeated between two kisses.
(oh my gosh I know it's cheesy and all and uuuugh sorry *hides* it's still pretty hard to share this here for me. Maybe I shoudldn't worry so much. Thanks for your support! And yeees, it's inspired by a scene in The Amazing Spider-Man, ahah. Probably one of my favourite scenes ever.)
