Yeeeees Even if not everyone pays attention, it does add to and bring additional life to the work.
Do you know of ? Some of her more recent stuff is simpler, but most of the time she just has like O_O ungodly amounts of details..

OM my gosh, yes, she is one of many idols. I don't watch her, but I adore her work <3
Especially the green world one and her zodiac series > 3 <
The details are almost blinding with amazingness in her work xD
