Guh, I love this guy. If you don't think he's the most adorable wooden soldier ever, you're not human. You just aren't.

This is soldier Sam from U.K.'s The Magic Roundabout (or Doogal, the U.S. release.) Ever since 2005, Sam has been my favorite character, and I've gotten into the tini-tiny fandom again, so I drew him. He's really easy to draw. Oh yeah, the gems on the frame are based off of his red, diamond heart. Yeah, he has one of those.

I was trying to draw him like he was telling someone that he was following his orders (since he's serious about being a soldier) but he was being rather sassy about it. Sam is the klutzy but ungodly friendly type, so this is actually a little out of character for him. He's usually not one to be pert, but I guess he could be if he knew what he was doing. He can stand up for himself. I actually have another draw of him I'm working on that puts him way more into his character. Way more.
