OK, THIS IS THIRD TIME I'M CHANGING A NAME FOR THIS CHARACTER. BUT I THINK I FINALLY FOUND ONE I LIKE XD
And yes, it's another old OC that I decided to bring back for this universe XD Because a character like her fits here very well XD

The monsters aren't a new thing in this world. They never invaded it before like they did now, but they were appearing here accidentally from time to time.
(The monsters are beings from another world, and the scientists accidentally opened a portal, so they decided to invade the Earth, because there is much more food for them. Yes, I changed the story a little, because I realized it's actually a better reason for monster invasion. But well, it's still those scientists' fault XD)
These creatures of course are very dangerous, especially because they attack basically everything what gets in their way. Even one monster was a problem, and that was a reason why people needed to get rid of them as quickly as possible. People were fighting those monsters for years, so some of them figured out how to successfully fight them. Those become the hunters, and their job was simply to kill a monster when it appeared.
And yes, Lauren was one of the hunters before the monster invasion, and she's one of the few, who actually survived longer than the first month.
She became a hunter because of her uncle, who took care of her after her parents died. He belived that they were killed by a monster, so he decided to teach Lauren how to fight them. He taught her everything he knew. After he died, Lauren joined the hunters and spend a lot of years fighting the dangerous creatures.
When suddenly an army of monsters appeared from nowhere and started to attack people, most of the hunters were trying to stop them. And most of them died in a fight. The survivors were forced to run away. Actually, Lauren didn't see another hunter for months, and she's not sure, if any of her friends are still alive.
Of course, a lot of people who were still alive and trying to survive wanted someone who have some experience in fighting monster to help them, so she quickly joined a small group. They wanted her to stay with them as long as it's possible, so she didn't have to worry about food - they would just gave her as many as she wanted to. She spend a lot of time with them, but it wasn't a reason why she decided to stay. She fell in love for the first time - in someone from that group. Sadly, it ended quickly and painfully. When the group was attacked by monsters, they decided to run, leaving Lauren, who was still trying to fight. And, actually, it was idea of that person. She was wounded, but somehow escaped.
After she was healed, she started travelling and even joined some other groups, but she was leaving them quickly, afraid, that she'll be betrayed again. Finally, she joined another small group and decided to stay a little longer, just because their leader seems actually smarter than most of people she met. She didn't plan to stay for too long, but maybe she'll change her plans.
And yes, of course, this small group is the same, which Amy and Abby will join.

Lauren is very strong and independent. And she's ironic. VERY ironic. But, for most people she seems cold and grumpy. She usually doesn't show any emotions and doesn't trust most of people. Sometimes she can be almost aggressive towards strangers. She seems very brave, almost fearless, but of course it's not true. She doesn't fear monsters or aggressive people. But she's afraid of her own feelings. She fears another heartbreak and betrayal, so she's trying not to get attached to people. And when she fails, she hates herself for being "weak".
But, at the same time, she'll still try to protect another people, just because she feels that it's her duty as someone who know how to fight those monsters. She will help, but she'll try to not make any friends. Because she feels safer that way.

She's kinda sceptic towards Amy and Abby. They're just pair of freaks for her, and she thinks they have to prove that they are useful for them all, or she'll do anything to get rid of them. About other survivors - she tolerates them, maybe likes some of them, but she'll never tell that. But, she respects Malawien, because she thinks he's actually a good leader.

As I said before, she knows very well how to fight monsters, and what their weak sides are. Also, she's carrying a lot of weapons all the time (I was too lazy to draw them all, but it's much more than some knives and an axe XD), so she's almost always ready to fight. She's very important part of this group because of her experience and bravery.
The weakest side of her is of course her fear to trust anybody. Sometimes she'll get in a very dangerous situations just because she didn't want anybody to help her, just because of her fear of betrayal.

- Her last name is Turner.
- She has a tatoo on her back - a dragon.
- She hates when people touch anything that belongs to her.
- She can't sleep very well. That's why she often agrees to patrol the camp on night.
- She's actually very tall.
- She's 25 years old. But most of people have trouble to guess her age.

Well, I like this character. She looks a little different than some years ago, but I think she looks better now (and she looks kinda weird in that ponytail, but I think it's the most logical hairstyle for a character with long hair in universe like that XD)
