And I stopped playing Trials of Mama to play this game... is not a complain, but I think I make a mistake each time I buy an RPG.

Tangle Tower is the third game of the Detective Grimoire saga, if you haven't heard of these games, is because they take an average of 6 years to come out, despite they are not really long, I finished this in around 4 hours.

Tangle Tower is a direct sequel to the previous game, "Secret of the Swamp", but you don't need to have played any of the previous game to understand what happens here, I didn't know there was two games before this until I watched a review and looked for the wikia of the game, the game itself doesn't make mention of the previous games, and after watching how was the previous game, I think this game contradicts the ending of the previous one, so it stands perfectly as its own game, except for the fact the ending let the speculation that this is not the end of this dilemma, so the story will continue... in five years, maybe.

The game is similar to the Professor Layton's games, but a lot shorter, you go fro stage to stage to solve the puzzle in it, and if is neccessary, to interrogate the inhabitant of that room, and showing the objects you have found and asking for his opinion about the suspects.

The puzzles are not as hard as the ones of the professor, but you feel that you have not enough clues to solve it, the thing with them is... except for one, they never give you a clue about how to solve it, you must deduce it for yourself, frustrating at the beginning, but you just must keep the eyes open, because the puzzles gives you the clue to solve it, you just must be observant.

The most frustrating part of me i when you must make a logic deduction using the objects and the phrases available, sometimes I felt there was not enough options for what I saw as a clear deduction.

Other proble that has, similar to games of this kind, is the fact that once I finished it, I see no reason to play it again, I know the solution of the puzzles and the final solution of the mystery, and the journey was not as exciting to return to it... at least not until ten year.

This is a game that I think is worth to play, but due the lenght, I think that is overpriced, I bought it because it catched my interest, but as all the other games, I waited until it had a good discount to buy it... but as this was the first time I saw it with discount, and after all the reviews I watched said that it was a good game, I bought it, mainly because who knows it will be in discount again.
