Well, the finale for The Legend of Korra is only several hours awaySO I decided to try my hand at drawing Asami in the meantime.

Well, I still have plenty of room for improvement which is why I've been practicing more and I guess that the reason people have low self esteem here is because they can't help but compare their own art to the art of more popular artists.

>///< Don't think that. I can't tell you how many times I had to erase and start over when I was working on this piece. I'm experimenting with different styles so my art is so inconsistent >_> but I suppose that's what practice is for. I can't look at some of my old work without cringing, but at least it shows me what I improved on and what I still need to work on lol

NYAAAA, i finally saw the finale btw. but also, i saw this on your tumblr and i totally didn't realize it was YOURS. and then i see it here and was like, 'WHHAAAA?!' hahaha, it's really good! ^_^

Yes! Finally! and yeah surprise! I did post it on my tumblr much to my own surprise. I'm too self conscious about my own art and believe it's crap compared to other artists I follow >_> but I'm really glad you liked it. I've been experimenting with different styles lately so I'm glad you liked the results. Originally I started drawing a guy b/c I was practicing and he started looking like General Iroh b/ I only finished the face and then I decided to try drawing a girl and it ended up being Asami so yeah...I'm planning to finish Iroh though. I started shipping irosami even though it's a total crackship. I blame the beautiful art that's been floating around on tumblr of the two. After the whole masami breakup and my mixed feelings about makorra...let's just say that I needed something else to ship. >///<
