Watching the news is just so devastating.Lately everything feels wrong with the world, and it is true, sadly...
Life, always on the brink of tragedy.
I really hate this picture... But what else is new.

I like it--the picture, I mean, not the brink of tragedy. The photo carries a sort of innocence about it, as if you're staring at something tragic right before the brain registers what the eyes are seeing.
And yeah, the world always seems so precariously balanced . . . but there's always hope. Life is sturdier than it might appear.
