Same picture. Different title.I had to alter it because... well, no one bothers to check fullview (I know I don't 96% of the time). And the preview sucked.
This picture looked so much better with a big width -_-.
I've totally lost my enthuasiasm to describe this.

Er, yeah. I absolutely love this. Damn, you're putting out some great stuff at the moment! ; ) In case you hadn't gathered, the colouring on this is, in my opinion, absolutely awsome. Genuinely impressive, both technically and by the fact that it's very attractive to look at. And when it comes to the actual artwork, I the psoes and layour also impress. Plus my obligatory -you-rock-at-expressions comment...
I know, I'm predicatble but it's a bit unavoidable with work of this quality XD For soemthing more specific to the picture, I really like the way you've divided the image between the two colours with a definate border. Call it a detail, but i think it really works well with the image and colouring as well.
In summary- UROK. BD And this reminds me, I owe you SHADAITH fanart! XD (I sketched one out ages ago but I was awful then >_> I SHALL BURN YOUR RETINAS YET!)

Glad you like the colouring! That was the biggest... erm... query, as you will. Was wondering whether the contrast intensity was enough. Anymore though and it wouldn't have looked all that real. Hey, and if you approve of the structure, poses AND expressions

Before I go into a seriously long comment, I have to say one thing....this is truely AWSOME!
The sheer emotion and the clash of the 2 mighty elements of ice and fire...is just so much to take in.
First of all, the poses. Each one shooting off their attacks with all that they have, only to be too evenly matched.
Wraith holding his signature chaos emerald probably supplying him the energy and power to battle shadow so fiercely. His powers matching his personality...ice cold, and strong. But even with the hot intensity of the fight, you can tell, just by looking into that hedgehogs eyes, that he's determined to win, *and to not be stolen by sega*
Then you have shadow. Blazing out against wraith once again, in a fight to the death. The fire also matched his personality. Burning inside for revenge. A fire that he's determined to keep burning until he gets what he wants.
The details on this are just extrordinary. Especially with the 2 light sources used, which makes this even more awwing. Shadows pose makes him look like he's lashing out at wraith, pissed to the max and wanting to end the fight here and now, and yet wraith has other idea's and counters each lash and blast. This is one fight that will have no winner...they're just so evenly matched...and that's one of the things that makes this so good, is because it's so suspenceful. Who will win? Shadow? Wraith? You left it up to the person who's looking in at the scene.

I do agree with you though. Everyone probably likes to have their ego stroked, but it doesn't define self-worth and who we are. Constructive criticism, if taken, can ultimately take you further down the line.
My perception of the Sonic figures are generally more elongated and slender compared to the typical SA ones. I kind of got inspired by Orin for that. I love the way she represents Sonic anatomy more than anyone. Though she tends to stick to more still and immobile settings rather than action packed- though I have seen action packed from her part. Gah, who am I kidding, she can do anything.
Given this, and considering I had no refs or anything, I think I can get away with this :3
I'm not particularly happy with one of Wraith's hands, but the rest I consider adequate. When I look back at my former pictures, I cringe. I wonder why nobody pointed anything out then. Maybe it was cos I came across as being permanently on PMS 
Which works do you feel were my better ones then?
