Description Made with Water Colors, Japanese Ink and normal Ink.

It's sureal picture of the Trickster from Cirque du Soleil's KOOZA. Also a little Innocent down in the middle.

I know it's not really good, but I had a lot of fun at experimenting with the colors and forms

That's pretty cool! If a tad creepy here and there. I like it a lot - you really thought outside the box with this piece. Well done!

Outside the box - Great said if you remember that Kooza means "Treasure Box"

Thanks a looot! And Kooza has a creepy part, that's why it's a bit creepy as well... I guess? xD

I take it Kooza is one of your favorite Cirque shows?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-23 03:53:34 +0000 UTC]

It was my first, my favourite and always will be my favourite

It'll come to Germany next year! And well, since I'm living in Germany xD

I've waited 5 years for this great announcement! Well, since Kooza was first shown in the german TV.

And yours? Is it your favourite too?

Oh it is indeed - it wasn't the first show I saw, but I fell in love with it the second I saw it

Correction, I fell in love with the Trickster when I saw it

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-23 04:03:44 +0000 UTC]

You too? I fell in love with this awesome guy when I saw the show on Youtube.

So you saw it live? Twice? Man, really jealous xD

Also, did you saw Jason Berrent or someone else? *whispers* Nothing against any Trickter actor, but Jason is my favourite. He's kinda the only one I saw since he's the Trickster on the DVD. I saw a bit of Mike Tyus, but I didn't like him that much :/

Alright, I should go to school now xD My last day before the exams starts

Hope we'll talk more! You seem to be awesome

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-23 04:15:28 +0000 UTC]

Kooza was the second Cirque show I saw...Alegria was my first.

And I think it was someone else and not Jason - I didn't get the program and...I wasn't so close to the stage to see his face. And don't worry, I agree with you... The other actors are great, but Jason (the one who created the role) is the greatest

And good luck with your exams

I see! Quidam will be my first show (In september), and hopefully Kooza next year!

Maybe it was Mike Tyus or Ross Gibson?

And thanks a lot!

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-24 03:03:05 +0000 UTC]

You're welcome

I don't think it was Ross Gibson - after Jason and his understudy recovered from their leg injuries I think he went back to performing in Mystere in Las Vegas. Might've been Mike Tyus...not sure...

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-24 04:46:49 +0000 UTC]

Probably?

I guess I'll see Adam Smith next here. Isn't that the current Trickster? I saw a picture of him. It doesn't look bad, but on the first view... it looks like he has an axe in his hand with an insane laugh. Then it was just the staff and the Kooza programm xD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-24 04:49:17 +0000 UTC]

Well, I guess it's up to the viewers to determine whether or not he does Jason's character justice. I'm sure none of the future actors will ever do as great a job as he did...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-24 04:59:57 +0000 UTC]

I don't have anything against the other Trickster actors. But Jason is still my favourite. I think he can understand the role the best, since he created it!

In your neck of the woods...?

I'm soooo sorry, but I'm from Germany, and my english is not perfect. What does this mean?

And who do you mean with HE. Jason?

sorry if I sound so dumb and if I'm annoying you

No need to be sorry, you're not annoying me at all - I'd be happy to explain

"In my neck of the woods" is just a way of saying "In my area"...in this case the United States - and when I say "he", I'm talking about Jason

So, have you seen any other Cirque shows other than Kooza?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-24 20:44:57 +0000 UTC]

I even haven't seen Kooza yet - live, I mean.

Well, I'm going to see Quidam in September. Otherwise I watched Alegria, Varekai, KA, Corteo and the Movie, Worlds away. That's it. Next on the watching list are Dralion and La Nouba - these are finally up on YouTube!

I wish I could see Mystere, O, Amaluna and Totem. but i don't find the full shows anywhere :/

What have you seen? And what of them did you see live?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-24 20:58:57 +0000 UTC]

Actually, all of the ones I've seen were live In this order, I've seen Alegria, Wintuk, Kooza (sorry I forgot it was actually the third show I ever saw), Ovo, Zarkana (saw it three times), Ka, O, and Mystere.

The reason why Mystere, and O are not seen in full show is because they are residential shows in Las Vegas, and they never released DVD versions of them. As for Amaluna and Totem, they're two of the newest Cirque shows, so they haven't been filmed yet.

And I saw Worlds Away in theaters

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-24 21:04:47 +0000 UTC]

Aww man, so jealous! Really! xD But great that you've seen so many shows!

And yeah, I know. but it's weird that KA has a DVD and O and Mystere not! KA is also a residential show in Las Vegas :/

Yeah, Worlds Away was pretty awesome! I just wonder why they needed 3 or 4 months to show it here in Germany after it was shown in America. The movie barely had 4 sentences!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-24 21:14:21 +0000 UTC]

I think KA had a special recording done for something, but I don't think it's for sale on DVD.

And you got me when it comes to how long it takes for certain forms of media to be released in various countries...I don't know too much about that industry

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-24 21:17:45 +0000 UTC]

Well, an english film usually need 2 month to be released in Germany (Translating, cencoring, etc...)

But Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away needed 4 months! And it didn't had any scenes that have to be cencores, or many sentences which had to be translated >.<

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-24 21:24:57 +0000 UTC]

Ah, I see. Hmm...I wonder what it was about the film that took so long...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-24 21:28:09 +0000 UTC]

Maybe just the fact that no one cares for Cirque du Soleil in Germany...

Japan was like "DAI HATSU KOOZAAAAAAAAAA" and I'm sure Germany will be like "Kuh-sa? (Cow-sa?) What's that? sounds like food." <.<

Well, did you see how excited Japan was for Kooza coming to them? They made comercial and television advertisment and what not.

I wonder what Germany will do. Probably another lame tv add that goes for 9 seconds. Like for Alegria

"[Input 3 seconds of Alegria movie pieces here] Alegria, Cirque du Soleils great show. Now! In MΓΌnchen! Buy tickets now on www.blahblahblah.de "
<.< That's how every Cirque du Soleil Show is announce here. I see forward to Koozas ad...
"Kooza! Now! In Berlin! Don't miss! Buy buy buy!"

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-24 21:37:21 +0000 UTC]

Oh dear...

Yeah, I think Japan likes to make things a bit bigger...although they had Worlds Away as their star to open the Tokyo International Film Festival...

Did you know Jason pitched at a Japanese Baseball game as the Trickster?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-24 21:41:56 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I did! And... It's so funny. I actually don't want to say it but... he failed, I guess? xD The one with the bat didn't look like he was impressed But it was still a nice view!

I just wish Germany would do that as well. At least for Kooza. We should be so happy to be able to get a Cirque Show to us, to have the chance to see amazing acrobats doing perfect acts!

Weeeeell, I should go now. It's 11:40pm in Germany xD And I have anemia, I need sleep or I'm like a Zombie the next day. Not moaning "Braaainz" but "Zleeeeep" xD

Good night! it was great to talk to you again!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-24 21:48:02 +0000 UTC]

Lol, goodnight - pleasant dreams

I shouldn't be surprised that Jason's pitch was bad - it's hard to throw a good pitch, and it requires a lot of training...It was cute to see him stay in character, though

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-25 08:17:41 +0000 UTC]

I have nooo idea of Baseball. Seriously. I just could tell that the pitch was bad ebcause the one with the bat was amused xD
And yeah, I guess he would even stay in character when a hydrant would explode next to him xD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-25 20:47:19 +0000 UTC]

Lol

I've played softball - which is pretty much the same thing as baseball - and let me tell you, unless you practice, pitching can be tough...especially when you don't want to hit the batter by accident. The point of the pitcher is to aim the ball at a particular area so the batter can either hit it, or miss it. Accidentally hitting the batter with the pitch results in an automatic free walk to first base.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-26 10:21:42 +0000 UTC]

Wow, that sounds... complicated. Really really complicated. Here in Germany, baseball isn't so popular. More football. And no, not the football with the egg shaped ball xD

it's boring :/ Kinda. I don't like football XD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-27 01:58:49 +0000 UTC]

When you say football, you're talking about the sport I know as "soccer" right?

And don't worry, I'm not much of a sports person either

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-27 04:05:35 +0000 UTC]

Soccer? I guess so? where 22 people running after a ball, trying to kick it in the goal of the opposite team?

So sorry, I feel really embarrassed right now >.<

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Thalia-Dawnbringer In reply to xXAcantheaXx [2013-05-27 04:12:58 +0000 UTC]

Don't feel embarrassed, it's all right And yes, that is soccer - or football

Don't worry, I never really got into the sports either...I'm more of an art person

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

xXAcantheaXx In reply to Thalia-Dawnbringer [2013-05-27 04:17:07 +0000 UTC]

Whoa. Okay, I should remember that. Soccer. Not football.
My english teacher lied to me. He said "That both is called football."
<.< Never trust an English Teacher but your english speaking friends.

Yeah, same here - even if I'm not good xD

But yours are awesome! I never tried dA Muro, not really xD
And Tricky seems to like it as well
