Foley's eyeball
Taken the other day, but I wasnt sure if I wanted to submit this - The focus could be a bit better but I just liked the lighting. I might scrap this soon

Played with contrast, curves and saturation, then noise removal and sharpening

Hey, what type of dog is Foley? I have a dog who's eyes are the same. She is supposed to be a Nova Scotia Duck Toling Retriever. Still waiting for confirmation.

Foley is supposed to be half retriever and half labrador, though he does look like he's got some german shep in him too

I know my dog has some retriever in her but what all else is a total mystery!?

I'm surprised you got the dog to stay still enough to take the shot! My experiences with photographing animals have been difficult at best.

The focus is a smidgen too close, like it shoulda been on the pupil, but: awesome shot, good lighting, and it almost looks human before you full-size it.

in dire i-need-macro moments, you could reverse the lens.... i used it a few times.
