Finally found the time to finish this one! It was a bit of a challenge but I had fun trying to figure it all out~

1) What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?

- The prompt gave me a pretty good idea of what to aim for, and lots of room to toy around! Strong with themes, and just enough detail for me to know what I had to incorporate and build the design around.

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?

- Okay so, I focused mainly on the themes/suggestions of a character that seemed 'mature', 'brooding', and 'mysterious'. The palette also gave me a good idea of what to aim for. From there I toyed with posture and shapes, in an attempt to get a silhouette mind. The basic thought process ended up being something like this:

shrouded > cloaked > bat wings (suggested) > wing-cloak...

Then bird-themes were encouraged, so I though to add a long, beak-like mask, which evolved to be the neck/head wings, which I thought could also cover their face in a similar shape. I didn't want them to look too devilman-esque though, so toyed with their design and realized I could use those to cover the character's ears, which was an explicit request. So they're always pressed against the side of the head.

From there I just tried figuring out how to do clothing. The prompt asked for something 'elegant', but I couldn't make anything too detailed or complicated given that the back had to remain open for the bat wings. I ended up going for a pantsuit sort of thing, using the offered palette because it fit well!

Quirks - The head wings can move, but always remain permanently close to/against the side of the head, blocking the ears. The character also has a... void? A black hole?? On their stomach. Anything can go in, but if it falls in, it won't ever come out. Details of how this functions and can be utilized are, of course, up to the owner of the design, but I had the idea that the void can 'capture' any sound it 'hears' and when needed, play the sound back. If the creature ever needs to relay a message or create a sound, they can therefor use what's been 'recorded' to accomplish the task.
