Well the first time I got photoshop was on my laptop. Since I didn't have those USB mice that you can hook up to the laptop, I had to teach myself how to use a touchpad. Most of my stuff until I did 'Summoning Your Demise' was all touchpad.
And the tablet I have you can get for 60 bucks if you don't need the mouse that comes along with it. I'd Reccomend the Wacom tablets. They're decently priced and they last a long time.
