If I could just say one thing,
To take all of your pain away,

And all my love when you're sad...

If I could do just one thing,
To keep you from going away
I'd do anything, and everything,
To see you smiling bright everyday.

And you know that if I could,
I would do anything for you.
I'd show you that I understood.
I'd help you to make it through.

If I could show you one more thing,
I'd make this one thing be known,
And today you'd still be living,
