Understandable. I shall leave you with just one thing to say. I see you using a doll maker for your art, and while you can do quite a few things that I do condone with them, such as making a pose to draw yourself, I find it disheartening to see others use it just to make these stuff poses that aren’t even their creation. You have something nice going on with your colors, and I can see where you’re coming from with the food theme, but I highly encourage drawing your own art. This is in no way meant to attack or discredit you, but it’s just a tip because I believe you have the potential to do some really great things. Thanks!

Not to butt in or anything and I know you have the best of intentions but- This dollmaker is not being to not have to draw or to take away potential and what you have said actually was not wanted by the owner of the deviation. ("I do take it but I don't want it.")
The doll maker "KISEKAE2" made by pochikou is simply something a lot of people enjoy and this was a CHALLENGE that other people made so that others can join in and have a fun community-
You don't know this person. Yes, maybe you don't think that dollmakers are the best use of peoples talents but a lot of KISEKAE2 users are actually art students or art hobbyists, I myself use KISEKAE2 frequently but I am an art student and have multiple art accounts.
If you have such a problem with people using these dollmakers, then make a journal about it as opposed to simply just commenting on ONE PERSONS work.
This is not meant to attack you or be rude, though I apologise if it comes off that way, I just want you to realise that this is a community for something that makes people happy.

Oh I understand fully. They said they accept criticism. I simply gave my input on a controversial topic. I used to use doll makers like this a lot too, but I intended to use them to make custom poses to which I would draw my OWN character in said pose. It is okay to use doll makers and other such things as references, but I personally don’t condone using them just as they are. Second, I comment things like this on multiple accounts. It is my belief that this user and many others like them have the potential to make extraordinary artwork if they branched off of using a doll maker that has limited options for clothing, styling, and color. I tend to give insight to artists looking to expand into the business area of art, but perhaps I made a mistake here since this artist, and yourself it seems, use DeviantArt as a place to post things that make you happy as you said. It is perfectly fine to use a doll maker in this case because you aren’t trying to make a profit off of something that isn’t yours. Just know that if you or this artist want to start earning money from art, a doll maker is not very legal. I hope you have a wonderful evening, and please continue to do what makes you happy.

Yes, they said they accept it but they don't WANT it- so that means that you upset them by giving them ""criticism"".
The thing is, people use them as they are FOR FUN so you having something against it means you just have something against people doing something that makes them happy- a lot of kisekae users are actual artists and draw in the spare time, whether it be on a different account or a different website.
Kisekae is actually a very UNlimited application, you can make as many colours as you want the creator of the app actually condones going outside of the box and using things such as hair pieces and such to make skirts (eg, my most recent deviation 008 )
Yes, a lot of people don't use this for good and actually try to get points/money off of it when the creator said specifically to not do that. It's quite upsetting, really.

Mkay. You do you, boo. I’m jut saying for future reference. Don’t use these for money. I know this person isn’t, but it’s jist a heads up. I quite like the piece that this is. If they take constructive criticism but don’t really like it, they said they take it regardless. This person is WILLING to get it. I’m not interested in just getting positive responses, but to plant the seed in them and any other readers that you can use this advice to improve. I get if you like this weeaboo esque doll maker, but it is my personal opinion that I am entitled to to say althat I think the poses and other things are quite bland. Drawing your own stuff gives you unlimited ways to use your creativity. What if you wanted to use a certain hair piece, but it isn’t there? If you make your own stuff, you can do that. I’m just saying that theses only so much you can do with a doll maker. You can do whatever you like if it makes you happy. I’m not sayin this to tear them down; I’m saying it to help them improve their skills and possibly enable them to make even better things that make them happier. I’m not a parasitic twit using this site to tear down some random creator’s pride in their work. I’m a guide of sorts dedicated to showing others small ways to improve their craft. Since you use this doll maker, I’m going to assume you like anime. What do you think would make you feel more accomplished- a circle with large eyes and calling it anime, or an intricate piece representing intense emotions and really changing the way you look at the world all together. My critiques operate by the principle that the quality of the product = the quality of happiness. Now if you excuse me, I’m working on a rather emotional and time taxing by project, so I won’t bother responding to any other comments on this thread unless absolutely necessary. Adieu!

Hello! While I did say I did accept criticism I didn't necessarily want a criticism I have heard two times already. Anyways, I'll respond to your input. You can very well use dollmakers for that but, there are also apps like easy poser and all. While you don't condone it I personally do. As long as they aren't using it to harm people in any shape or form it's fine in my opinion. While I do appreciate you thinking me (and others) have the potential to make extraordinary artwork the claim that Kisekae has limited options for clothing, styling, and color is wrong. See, we can make a lot of stuff on it compared to your usual dollmakers. We can also use custom colors compared to just the basic colors in it and we can make beautiful clothes using it. Of course how good the quality depends on the experience of the user (that and knowledge of using custom colors). But, I'm confused about where you got the money thing from though. We mostly just post our stuff here to post stuff that makes us happy like you actually said. Anyways, hope you have a good evening.
