I made this for for part of his Stein cosplay...But I'm not good at sculpting faces...So I made Shinigami-Sama's mask with Stein's bolt and stiches instead.... I liked the way it turned out I made this from Sculpey...Related content

It's a brand of polymer clay.

yeah...it's a type of clay that you never hardens until you bake it.... you can sand and paint it after it backs and if you mess up or need to add more detail you can add more clay to it and put it back in the oven..... if you go to a craft store you can usually find it. there's Sculpey, Premo, and Fimo.

Thank you!!!! I don't think you would have to worry about sculpey exploding or anything, not if you use sculpey firm or sculpey III.... I haven't had any thing explode...maybe burned a litte...but since I paint it it's not noticeable..

Ah, i also wanted to ask you what you used t color it with? I tried a few methods, i even died some of it with a bit of food coloring before i baked it and it worked well but it limits the color range. What did you color it with?

I just use the water base acrylic craft paint....The one I usually buy is Creamcoat... Though with that brand you have to watch out which one you buy...like I've picked up some transparent paints from them..and I had to use a lot of coats... Or if you don't want to color it you can always pick up the little blocks of Sculpey III ...That comes in a lot of different colors

Idk wich one i have, i didn't think there were any more. O.o Wow, lol. I'm a little behind on these things. Anyways, yeah, i've had something burn a little before, but it was a chibi human so it worked well for skin tone. XD

Thanks dood! I sculpted it from Sculpey, painted it, then glossed to seal it...and hot glued the pin to it ^^

It's out of Sculpey...that you can find at an art store.... I sculpted it with my fingers...after It's sculpted I baked it at 250F for 15 minutes....then I sand it so it's super smooth...Then I paint it with acrylic paint ( like Delta Cream Coat or Americana).... After it dries...I gloss it.... that's about it....
