It's an old Japanese superstition that when a guy is suddently stimulated, he gets a nose bleed. You can find it as a common joke in anime, especally ones that like to use fan service.

No, but again, it's Japanese superststion. It's usually in animes that use a lot of fanservice. DBZ, Highschool of the Dead, ect. And actually, though it really dosn't happen, when you think about it, it isn't impossiable. When someone is excited (especally sexually which is usually the case with the nose bleeds) their heart pumps faster and so the blood moves faster around the body and hits the blood vessels harder. If someone was to be very susceptible to nose bleeds then this could happen. I think this is where the thought came from but I'm not sure, wasn't there.
