I don't know. Before she poofed as Malachite, her gem was fine. She couldn't have cracked it on the way down, Alex. caught her, and yeah, there's definitely something weird going on there. I still think that they're eventually going to make one of the gems we know now a corrupted one, to show how that happens, and I suppose it wouldn't surprise me if that ended up being Jasper. Then again, someone said that the crew has mentioned that Jasper has a lot more behind her story than what we've seen, so she's got to come back eventually, right?
I don't know, my brain is still reeling in the shock that it's coming back in a week and not four months.

Exactly. It's gotta be something with Yellow Diamond. Now that she knows not only is something wrong but that there's a direct resistance from Earth against the Authority, she'll be trying to crush this small rebellion once more. That's what I think anyway. It doesn't sound like anything she as a great leader could simply overlook, especially after a previous rebellion on the same planet. She'll probably be fighting them. And if we're lucky, maybe we can also see Steven and the other CGs try to show Homeworld a new kind of leadership, one based on kindness and trust, not fear and power. I'm hoping that's what the current as-far-as-we-can-guess endgame is going to be, but they still have to focus on just trying to keep Earth from being obliterated first.
It's probably fake. I've seen all the leaks for the show, and there's not been one like that that's been true.
