Ahh!    That's awesome!    

I've just started using cross-hatching to try and bring a little depth to my drawings, I've learned the hard way that it's easy to overdo!    You however, have got a great handle on it!

Exactly! just keep practicing, also the right tools make a huge difference. I used to draw with a regular ball point pen and I improved a lot just by switching to a set of pens designed for drawing.

Ahh!    I understand that!    I'm slooowly upgrading my drawing tools as I progress.  Just a few days ago I stood in a craft store, drooling over items that I would like to have RIGHT NOW but alas, I have to wait a while for!    

I'm so impressed that you use pens!  I make SO many mistakes with my pencils, erasers are my salvation, lol!

I know what you mean
Art supplies tend to be pretty pricey.
lol yeah pens don't leave much room for mistakes, but for some reason I feel more comfortable that way.
Almost as if it forces me to be more careful.

That's so cool that you appreciate your pens for their preciseness.    The very reason I've been avoiding them is the exact reason you're comfortable with them!

Very true!    I've made the discovery of fixative last month though so I hope my colored works will last a bit!

Nice! I've never really been into colored works, whether it's paint or pencil. For some reason i was never good with colors.
But one day I'll learn.
