my mind drifts from thought to thought
thinking about all the battles
that I once faught
frayed ideas
fill my brain
as my soul
is fed by rain
a freeform poem
open and I'll show'm
my mind ain't right
I'm lossin' sight
Of reality
I'm winning the fight
with my mind
with my world
with my soul
reaching forward
reaching for my goal
My thoughts can fly
in my mind they amplify
you'd be surprised at the rate
of which I can find my fate
Gathering my thoughts
taking them captive
I reinstate sanity
which is nothing short of insane
as I question the activities
of my very own brain
but is it the same
Is my mind part of my brain?
Is my brain part of my mind?
