my room isn't that small but I clutter it up really fast. I don't like doing that, but it ends up being that way... and I can hardly breath because I have quite large stuffed animals circling me and blocking the cold air under my bed the entire night. and then having to share the space with an 18 month old who has night terrors and is sick... it is not fun to sleep anymore DX.... and i hope that didn't come across weird though it probably did.,..but YOU GET WHAT I MEAN!! agh!
So... yeah... and then my mind get's like that too... very cluttered, very stressed... but this makes the most sense to me... and you just can't have it any other way

nothing comes across weird to me XD
My room is excessively hot from stuffed animals too, and the fact that I just have one window to open, one...TINY window. However I must admit, I do enjoy the clutter in my room, as it makes me feel like I'm in a smaller space than I even am. I like small spaces...odd coming from a big guy like me xD

True solitude is better than imagined company.

is it? Imagined company can be an interesting party, as it can only be you that keeps you company, and then you get to know yourself personally, and either become friends with yourself or enemies.

If you become friends with yourself then your solitude is fed. You will never seek anyone else outside yourself. But enemies. You will learn your flaws and despise them. You would be driving your own self out of solitude to seek someone besides yourself.

ahhh, but if you become enemies with yourself wouldn't you think that you'd find yourself in competition between both the true you and the idealistic you? Constantly competing with one another and further closing off to the world so you can sort your mind and find out who you really are.

Then you get consumed in the competition of fighting yourself, thus driving yourself mad. So in your attempt at finding company you have deteriorated your mind, your most valuable asset.

I do completely agree, and this is due to my own experience.

n.n Well, you're not in complete solitude. But the exploration of your own mind has made you a pretty interesting individual.
