Description Yami's wig is finally here! buahahahahah!

I know a lot of you people won't be happy with this change X3 And I have to admit I still really have to get used to it.
The wig is slightly too big for him (damn you small DOT heads...) so I have to figure out a way to deal with that and make it less poofy on the top.

Anyway!! Opinions opinions! What do you think of Yami's new hairstyle? Is it a keeper?

It's gorgeous!! It surprises me to say I like it more than the long one
Shame about the poofy oversizedness though D: The little DOT heads really are a pain I never know what to do about the fact that almost all my wigs are a bit too big orz. Short of pulling it over the ears as well... :T

I should try to see if MSD wigs fit him better. I wouldn't be surprised actually. I just didn't want to order an MSD wig from LUTS because I'm too freaked out it won't fit X3 I'd rather have a wig that's too big than one that's too small

LOL I've had the same thought The wig he came with from DOD was a bit gappy on my Kid Delf though, so I never got around to trying it orz

lol Yami fangirls will be searching the globe for the cut strands of their precious idol and braid it into cute straps for their cellphones! I like the look but I will miss the long hair.

Is that wig a 8/9 size? I had trouble with my DOC and was hoping that by some magical force, I wouldn't have the same problem with my DOT. To end my DOC wig trouble I got a 6/7 wig from
leekeworld and it fits way better than the 7/8. If the normal SD wigs fit loose on DOTs then I
might as well just skip t he trail and error and get a smaller size.

I don't know if DOC heads are relatively small as well. I just know that DOT heads are very small for SD size. Usually, Yami fits MSD size wigs and hats

DOC heads are smaller. Or I could just say other 1/4 dolls just have big heads.

I'm gonna go with an MSD wig for my DOT. ^^

Do you use Velcro on your wigs? I have found that it's helpful for keeping big wigs down and a little less puffy on top.

I have... but several people have told me that it kills wig caps over time >.< So I prefer not to >.<

Hmm, I haven't had that problem yet that I know of, I did get some sticky though on the skull cap piece of one of mine though.

Woah, short hair, really different indeed! But he has the same color and he's looking mighty fine! :3 And wigcaps helped with my dolls when the wig is a bit big, doesn't fall off!

The falling off part is not the problem. But the fact that his hair is so high >.< The wig needs to be closer to the top of his head.

Hmm.. I can't think of anything other than velcro then. >_> Cause that makes the wig stay in place and can be pushed down a bit. But I've had different luck with it. Some work and some don't. xD

This is a really nice look. I think it makes him more expressive somehow... Like he's come into his own. I always feel a good hair cut makes you have a new attitude. I like the way it outlines his face and how you can do different styles. I must say that color is definitely his trademark. I'm glad you didn't change that.
