Two of the cannon comic characters Malka and Joe, you know the pridelands had a LOT of problems with wandering rogues during Mufasa and Scar's reigns lol maybe he was too soft on loners or something. Anyway I have a feeling that old Joe was from the same pride that Malka was, and actually as I was drawing this I had the thought that Ni was as well. So I started thinking, what if Malka was the son of Ni who was the son of Joe. The story with Malka in it was called Simba's New Brother, so if Ni was the mate of Sarafina before having to leave the pride and thus the father of Mheetu and Nala as well, then that really WOULD make him Simba's brother hahah. I mean he did take Nala as his mate didn't he. So yes that was my whole concept on that, so what do you think. Boy that'd mean poor Ni was kicked out of two prides, well anyways not too happy with the coloring but I hope you like it.Related content

I think if you focused their eyes on a point a bit more (like their faces, the ground etc.) rather nothingness, it would be fantastic; overall, this is a nice piece.

you know what I originally had them positioned differently (where it made sense) but then I changed it and completely forgot to change the eyes and stuff lol XD but thanks though

The description confused me a bit haha, but a great picture nether the less. I guess its because I've only seen the first film, nothing else

some of the other pics I've done with lion king characters feature some more of the comic characters, like tama and tojo. there is also a six book series that has more characters, it's really hard to find on like eBay but I have the books already. they have more characters like that and I've done pics of them like Ni, Kula and Chumvi. Mheetu is a character who never met the final cut of the original movie, but he was going to be Nala's little brother.

yeah, I know. in the original draft of the movie, in stead of Scar luring Mufasa into the gorge with Simba I guess they were going to use Nala's brother to lure in Simba when he was a teenager. I dunno, not sure how that would've worked lol so I guess that's why they cut him.
