This is an ORIGINAL ACEO, aka "Baby Brownie" art card was created using graphite, watercolor and gesso on Arches paper. This original piece is signed, titled and dated on the front and is one of a kind. ACEO stands for 'art cards, editions & originals.' Art cards date back to the 16th century when artists created miniature portraits which were used as wallet photos. I like how you seem to go back and add the white highlights later, rather than working darker as you go along.
Or am I talking out of my a'rse? I really don't know anything about proper watercolour painting. ha ha

I start midtones and then work light and darks in.
