I just ordered some art markers to start doing some traditional art themandii , and Blank-Muse . But this inked work here is just a test really. It was a old drawing I had never finished, so I finished it. But I am not used to pens at all so my art is kind of messy line wise. I also did not plan well with the skirt. I should of inked it when I was ready instead of rushing it.My scanner is not the best also. Its REALLY old.
I also know the head is a bit small.

Hiya~ Just glanced at the comments and wanted to disagree with the first person. Her head IS very proportionate, that I agree with. Really good. But I don't think she's "too masculine" at all. I actually really like the definition of her upper arms and shoulders. She looks like she can handle herself. Every anime girl doesn't have to be a fragile waif. I'm a fan of the design, personally. <3

Mostly doing lots of lines and trying to do smooth work with your lines. You have very jittery and unconfident line work in this piece. It's almost like you're moving your pen back and forth instead of doing long, confident strokes.

Thanks! I am trying to get used to pen; as I mentioned before I have markers coming. My hand tends to shake some when I use inking pens, But I will for sure view these videos. Thank you Blank-Muse :3

You're welcome. The biggest thing to remember is to use your whole arm from your shoulder and not just your wrist.

her head is fine its her upper body sorta too squared out she looks a bit more masculine but other then that all good

Now that you mention it, she does look rather masculine in her arms and such. Oops
