The "Chikara" arc is my favorite filler arc just because Kabuto is so freakin dandy with his curling hair.Enjoy the art! I am remembering I can use my copics XD I just need to refill them...most of them...

(Chikara Kabuto was one of my favorite iterations of him! It's a shame it's not considered proper "canon", 'cause I would of loved to see his Chikara design in the games and manga with that gorgeous curly hair

I swear I really wanted to like that filler arc, I tried hard and it even worked in the beginning... but then of course it had to explode in overpowered, exaggerated situations as usual and details that didn't truly convince me (like, Kabuto, you went as far as getting some dna samples from Hidan and you didn't take his whole body with you? I mean, he was literally in pieces, he could do you no harm... but you just attempted to make clones instead than also experimenting on and trying to use the real thing?Β Β Just to mention one of the many things that left me quite perplexed...)
Also... why was Kabuto's face half white in the beginning with only one snake eye, than here he got yellow eyes but normal skin, and then his skin became completely white again? That arc just messed so much with my brain... 
And with that said... the portrait you drew is amazing, nothing to say about that.

Hmm, I guess I enjoyed it because even though it wasn't in line with the rest of the canon story, kabuto's personality was still pretty accurate to the rest of his portrayals, and I enjoyed the aesthetic of this version of him! I take my fillers with a grain of salt, and this was just better than his usual filler-versions, even if it wasn't completely accurate

That makes perfect sense. In spite of all my good intentions, I always end up getting a bit too annoyed by the carelessness that seems to be regularly put in fillers...

Love this! And I totally agree: The Power Arc is great because of Kabuto, and it's my favourite too! Hehe, I got the same eye color as snake cloak Kabuto and the same hair cute/style as him in the power arc. When it was cut it was like snake cloak Kabuto. I basically am such a fan I try to look like him. Oh, plus I have a cosplay outfit of snake cloak Kabuto. (And of Itachi too hihi)

I wonder if his hair got all curly from the Humidy in that arc. Thats what happens to my hair at that length when its humid.

Can't agree more. Chikara arc was really enjoyable and it's one of my favorite filler arcs as well.
