How are you? Are you doing well? I sure hope that you are! Well, I have another little gift that is currently in progress that I am presenting to my dear friends

These extraordinary ladies are remarkably skillful to say the least! They create not only works of art, but they craft a number of other art making genres such as doll and plush making, costume design and so much more! Please visit their website for more information!

Though I have mentioned it previously, I encountered these two incredibly kind ladies years ago, when I discovered their plushie making business in particular! Since then, we have been in touch during that time and I got to know them more and more as we conversed. I found their words to be endlessly encouraging, supportive and insightful; something I would always look forward to whenever I would create a new piece!

As the years past, I also had the two create a number of plush dolls for both me and a number of friends as gifts; plushies such as this one:

All of them were wonderful, with such attention to detail! But most recently, I was given this lovely gift by

Though I've loved ALL of the items that these two sweeties have created for me, the figurine above was a complete surprise, a thoughtful and considerate gift just to show that the two thought of me both for my birthday and for this past Christmas. And though I mentioned how touched I was in the commentary in the above deviation, I still can not even express how much receiving it meant to me! I never ever would have expected such a thing and given how much this rendition of Teana means to me, it was especially meaningful!

And so, this leads me to this work which is my gift to them. Like me, the sisters also love the series of Yu-Gi-Oh and have been fans for a long time. I was aware that one of the couples that they enjoy in this anime and manga title (aside from the potential between Yami and Anzu) was the possibility of Seto and Serenity aka Shizuka. So I wanted to try to portray this couple just for them!

Though I've never depicted this pairing, and Serenity in particular, I found it interesting trying to render them as a loving couple. Ironically I found it a little easier than the other work that I'm currently working on displaying Anzu and Seto as seen here even though I do draw these characters more often at least.

To be *entirely* honest, I do find it difficult seeing Seto with Serenity given the minimal interaction between them in the series, and yet she does remind me of Kisara from Ancient Egypt so perhaps one could argue that that is what could draw Seto to Serenity too.

For whatever the reason, it seemed a bit more natural depicting Seto with a softer expression. And I reasoned that he would have to be sweeter and gentler if he wanted to be with Serenity, given the nature of her character herself.

This work may or may not go through some changes depending on feedback and what themselves think, but I wanted to post this as it stands now too.
