Description I'd drawn this a while ago, styling the Medic's pose after Lisa Garland, a tragic character from the game Silent Hill. Even with his coquettishness and the possibility that he's rifling his own inventory of medical supplies, Medic is very much unlike an archetypical “Lynch girl”, which Lisa Garland was.

Trying to emulate the appearance of materials I’m too skittish to ever waste while trying to create something was fun.

At the first look it looks kinda creepy but his facial expression made me sad.He doesn't look like a monster, so it's hard to abandon him or refuse to help him, but there's always risk of getting harmed. It's a scene where not everything is obvious.Your drawing is intriguing,It's really touching. The anatomy and the pose are great, blood looks natural and shading enhances the anxiety, it makes the atmosphere denser. It's considered horror, tragedy and I like it.
I think I'm going to play Silent Hill in the future.

His pose and the staging was basically lifted from an iconic scene from Silent Hill where one of the characters has realized that she is dead, dying or monstrous, (it's intentionally ambiguous) and she follows after the hero, begging him to stay with her as he flees the room. I always thought it was pretty tragic, even if there's no real point to emulating it with a Team Fortress 2 character. Oh well. XD

Definitely play Silent Hill if you can.

I've just seen this scene, I feel sorry for her.
I think team fortress without respawn(and then illness or death could be possible) would be quite tragic.Sometimes when I play I think "no I can't go directly to the front" , and I imagine how it would be without a chance to respawn.
I definitely will

creeepppyy. And sad. I approve of TragicMedic when he's done well, and so few people try to do it well, just sort of use him as a joke. Also, any comparison to Lisa who is SO SAD OH MY FREAKIN GOD wins points. I agree with rtil in that the lighting in this one is just right.

Medic has nothing in common with Lisa, aside from being a medical character and a character I like, but I still wanted to draw it.

it's true, he's definitely nothing like Lisa. Still, sad.

i think this piece has the strongest lighting you have ever done. it's very dynamic and adds a lot to the form and figure. you've really improved over the last few months, and i'm glad you've found an avenue to expand artistically through all this tf2 are you've been doing. you seem to really enjoy it and i'm happy for you

Thanks! It's not exactly productive work, but I figure that any art practice is better than none. I'm glad that I was able to put something interesting-looking together, especially as I wanted to use the exercise to play around instead of trying to make something gooshy.
