Description I doubt anyone would be crazy enough to do this, but... here's the idea, run with it.
To get started, you'll need a 1923 Packard 230 Coach [link] and a big old Packard V-12 and your own gas station.

Adobe Illustrator CS2, Apple G5 Power Mac, OSX Tiger.

Really nice, but I prefer when the front wheels are a little smaller than the back ones But I wouldn't say no to that one!

Kick ass!!!

A friend of mine's dad has a 1937 Packard Super-8 in 100% stock condition that just got restored, and his side project for the past year or so has been taking a rusted and almost useless 1940 Packard Ambulance (coachwork by Henney) and he's shortened it by about 4 feet and made it into a panel delivery for his body shop. I'll post pictures of it soon...

Someone at a car show in Leavenworth, KS had a 38 Packard with a Chevy 360 in it, and it had three deuces on top.

Thanks, I really appreciate that! It would be cool to see someone build one, but I suspect a Packard would be too valuable to do that to.

Thanks Ahmed! I really appreciate that. We all have some things in mind that we think are cool. I'm just trying to put my stamp on some of those things. It's all about dreaming. We could maybe never own a car like this, but we can dream it and illustrated it.

I can't explain it, but I really like your recent series of illustrations incorporating your new ideas, the Board Track Racer, for example.

Every new drawing of yours inspires me to illustrate something classic right away, but I don't find the kind of calm thats needed to do such these days, I would just say that pieces like this don't get together every now and then, nor artists like you are born every day.

This is perhaps one of your most beautiful illustrations.

Yeah, you won't be driving by any gas stations in that car. But the first thing I thought of when I saw this was this photo [link] . Not sure if it's the same type of engine, but it's still cool. Great job here.

Thanks! This one is a Packard V-12 Marine engine. That's a V-12 too, it might be a Packard or maybe Caddy, cool car, thanks for the link!

You supply the body and engine and I'll be crazy enough to try! Nice job and attention to detail, as usual. I love that you left the spare tire on the back, that really seals the whole look.

Thanks! I wish I had the body and engine, that would be too cool. I was debating about leaving the Spare, but you're right, it does seal the deal!
